On Friday, May 26 at 3:00 p.m., join our Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member as they present a special lecture on the world of technology and the comic book culture.
This presentation will include details on the role technology has played not only for the design and development of comics, but their consumption and the comic culture as a whole. Fans of comics are sure to not miss this event.

Dine and Discuss Caregiver Boot Camp

Join Stephanie Yeaglin from Hospice of Western Reserve on Wednesday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. to learn the basics of caregiving in this interactive boot camp class.

Participants will gain hands-on experience learning caregiving basics while enjoying a light dinner. This class is perfect for anyone who is looking to refresh their skills in this area, or for those looking to learn how to provide care to their loved ones.

Amanda will share a behind-the-scenes look at her writing process along with anecdotal stories. Copies of her book will also be available to purchase. Amanda Flower is a local author of over 15 different titles including the Appleseed Creek mysteries, which are set in Ohio’s Amish Country.
