Introduction to Geocaching

Adults and families are invited to an evening of geocaching fun on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Participants will learn the basics of geocaching, how to locate hidden caches in their community, and work together to find one in downtown Ravenna.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Registration is required for this program.

Drug Prevention and Awareness

Townhall II will be at Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, May 3 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. and 6:30-8:00 p.m. to provide drug prevention information to parents and families.

Townhall II’s presentation will include tips, resources, and information about drug awareness and prevention so families will have the information needed to discuss drug prevention with their children and be aware of warning signs.

Bad Art Night

Tuesday, April 18
6:30-7:30pm

Competition to create the tackiest art possible. Staff members will serve as judges, and winners will receive bragging rights. Registration required.

 

Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits

Saturday, April 15
1-3pm

This presentation will include information about ghosts, the ways of tracking paranormal activity on video, camera, and audio, and an opportunity for participants to ask questions regarding the history and methods of researching paranormal activity. The Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits have over thirty years of experience working with paranormal activity and have been featured in a number of television shows including “My Ghost Story”, “Haunted History”, “Paranormal Survivor”, and “Haunted Case Files”. This program is free and open to all ages. No registration required.

Library Scavenger Hunt

April 9-15
Celebrate National Library Week with an interactive scavenger hunt. Follow the clues around the library to discover more about our history and what unique materials we have to offer.
Those who complete the scavenger hunt will win a small prize. All ages.
